Sub-Saharan Africa’s Population is set to increase to 2 billion by 2050.

We are building an aquaculture food system that can rise to the challenge of meeting the region’s protein needs through farming tilapia at scale, efficiently, sustainably, and close to the markets that need it most, developing resilient local value chains.

MVUVI: Building a food system that works for Africa

We are Africa’s largest aquaculture group. We address the severe protein deficiency in the region through innovative, cost-efficient and carbon-friendly tilapia farming methods. We specialise in the production, processing, and distribution of farmed tilapia.

Our approach is grounded in inclusive business models that prioritise the people who live in, and participate in, the larger ecosystem. From smallholder farmers and rural employees to local vendors and market actors, we design our operations to create shared value, expand access, and strengthen livelihoods across the value chain.

We are not only producing fish but building a food system that is resilient, scalable, and rooted in the communities it serves.
